Templates
Updated 25 September 2026
Templates are things you set up once and reuse β nothing sends automatically just because a template exists. The Templates page has three tabs: Email Templates, Document Templates, and Intake Forms (covered separately, since it's a different kind of thing β typed questions rather than a subject and body).
Open Templates and choose Email Templates or Document Templates.
For a document template, pick a Document type: "Contract (feeds e-signature)", "Session-Prep (worksheet/handout)" or "Action Plan (one item per line)".
- Give it a Template name, and for email templates, a Subject.
Write the Body. Use merge fields like
{{ client_name }}β the list of available ones is shown under the box.For documents, tick Fillable digital version if merge fields should be filled in automatically, and optionally attach a Static file to share as-is.
- Select Save template (draft).
New templates save as a draft. Use Activate on the template's card to make it available for sending, or Edit to keep working on it. Archive removes it from the active list without deleting it. The panel beside the form previews your template against a sample client so you can check it reads well before activating it.
