Archive or delete a client
Updated 25 September 2026
Archiving is the normal way to "remove" a client in Coachstra β it hides them from your active lists without losing anything. Permanent deletion is a narrow option that only works for clients with no history at all.
Open the client's profile and find the Client status section at the bottom of the Overview tab.
Click Archive client, then confirm Archive this client? You can restore them anytime.
To bring them back, open the archived client's profile and click Restore.
If the client was Active and your plan's limit on active clients is already reached, restoring them is refused with a message explaining the limit.
To permanently delete a client instead, click Permanently delete (only if this client has no history) and confirm the warning. Coachstra checks this for you β deletion is only allowed when the client has no sessions, contracts, package offers or purchases, recordings, transcripts or consent records. If they have any of these, you'll see:
This client has history (sessions, contracts, purchases, recordings or consent records) and can't be deleted β archive them instead.
Permanent deletion can't be undone, so use archiving unless you're certain the client record is a genuine mistake or duplicate.
