Video calls inside Coachstra

Daily.co (in-app) is Coachstra's own video option for 1:1 sessions — it's always available and doesn't need connecting to anything. It isn't available yet for Group or Team sessions.

1. Open the session's Live Session screen.
2. Under Where's this session?, choose Daily.co (in-app).

3. Click Join call to start the video call in the browser, or Join & start AI transcription if AI notetaking is turned on for your practice. Transcription also needs the client's agreement: if it isn't recorded yet, the screen asks for it first — see Client consent for recording and AI.

4. Click Copy client join link and send it to your client so they can join the same call.

Once you're in, the call opens right there on the page with a normal leave button. If starting transcription fails, Coachstra tells you the call itself is still fine but isn't being recorded, and suggests leaving and rejoining.
